It is the new Dissemination and Exploitation platform that offers a comprehensive overview of all projects funded under the new Erasmus+ and Creative Europe programmes as well as some projects funded under the previous programmes (LifeLong Learning, Youth in Action, Culture 2007-2013, etc.). The new Educational and Culture programmes (Erasmus+ and Creative Europe) in force from 2014 until 2020, are considering the dissemination and exploitation activities as key objectives to their successful implementation.
The VALOR Dissemination Platform aims to ensure transparency, with the complete display of project information to the wider public. Moreover it will allow for an effective and comprehensive collection and dissemination of results of activities supported by Erasmus+ and Creative Europe programmes, as well as by some previous programmes. The purpose is to provide an information tool for the public for relevant and interesting content of DG EAC's projects, to highlight projects qualified as good practices and success stories, to become a source of inspiration for cultural organisations and initiators, to become a potential source of information for the Commission Open Data Portal, to serve as a project database (project summaries, links, main products and outcomes) and at a later stage to serve as a community of practice for projects.
The VALOR Dissemination Platform includes all projects funded under the new Erasmus+ and Creative Europe programmes, as well as a selection of projects funded under the previous programmes (LifeLong Learning, Youth in Action, Culture 2007-2013, etc.).
The search and consultation functionalities of the platform have been tested using the following desktop web browsers:

No, there is no need to register if you just want to browse, consult or download the information on the VALOR Dissemination Platform.
You only need to login if you are a project beneficiary and you'd like to upload information about your project and its results.
The VALOR Dissemination Platform is updated regularly: every time a project beneficiary updates the information on its project. New funded projects are published after the signature of their contract.
The interface of the VALOR Dissemination Platform is in English and project beneficiaries are asked to provide a description of their project and of the results produced in English, but other than that project beneficiaries are free to upload results (files) in any other EU official language, in which the concrete outcomes or documents were produced.
When accessing the Creative Europe or the Erasmus+ landing page of the VALOR Dissemination Platform, simply type one or more keywords into the search box and click on the Search button (on the right) or press "enter". You are given the possibility to limit the scope of your search to "ongoing projects" (project which are running at the moment of your search) or "finalised projects" (projects whose implementation has finished at the moment of your search). By default the system searches in "All projects" (ongoing and finalised). The system allows you to further restrict your search using more specific criteria. Yes, you can find contact details of an organisation or a project that interests you, simply by clicking on the title of the project in the results' list. The system will open the project card in a separate tab of your browser. The project information is organized around 3 tabs: "Project Details", "Partners" and "Results". In the first two tabs you can find the contact details of the coordinator and the partners. You can also click on the "by Organisation Criteria" tab, to find projects in function of the organisations involved.
The system allows you to restrict your search using more specific criteria. To have access to the set of advanced search criteria, click on "Show advanced criteria" under the Search button. By default, the advanced search criteria proposed are related to project properties. In case you want to find projects (or results) in function of the organisations involved, click on the "by Organisation Criteria" tab. If you wish to return to the project related search criteria, click on the "by Project Criteria". To hide the advanced search and go back to simple search, click on "Hide advanced criteria".

Previous databases illustrated the projects funded via the various DG EAC programmes, but the information available was quite heterogeneous in quantity and quality. The new platform, VALOR, integrates the projects from all the above mentioned databases and becomes the one-stop shop for previous and current projects funded by several programmes run by DG EAC.
The VALOR Dissemination Platform puts a stronger focus on the dissemination of results: the use of the platform becomes mandatory or highly recommended, depending on the funding programme and their related actions.
The new platform will also serve as a specific showroom for good practices and success stories projects to select and give more visibility to particularly performant projects, to inspire new applicants and to offer examples of quality to the wide public.
If you don't have yet an ECAS account, then registering in ECAS (the European Commission's Authentication Service) is easy. Go to the ECAS sign-up form with your desktop web browser. Enter the requested information (chosen username, first name, last name, email address, etc.) then click on "Sign-Up". When registering in ECAS in order for you to act as beneficiary of a project, please ensure that: a) In the ECAS sign-up form, you made a request to create an ECAS account in the external domain. b) The email address you specified is the email address communicated when submitting the application for the project.
Please make sure that you have selected the correct domain on the ECAS login page. People outside of the Commission should choose the "External" domain. You can change your domain on the login page itself (look for the "use a different domain" link below the login box) or you can go to this ECAS domain selection page and retry your login. Note that cookies must be enabled on your web browser.
a) Contact your IT department to check if the email from the Authentication Service subject: Your password / Votre mot de passe is not "queuing" in the mail server. b) The problem could occur if the email is treated as a spam. Ask your IT administrator to remove email@example.com or the domain ec.europa.eu from the spam filter. c) If it does not solve the problem, then please follow the instructions as indicated here in order to have the ECAS account verified by the responsible support team.
Just click “New password” in the menu. Note that you can't reset your password if your account is locked. An account is locked if too many incorrect passwords are entered in a row. During that time you won't be able to log in or reset your password. Contact support for assistance or wait 15 minutes until the account is unlocked automatically. If you haven't entered the incorrect passwords yourself, it may be that someone is trying to guess your password or that a user mistyped their login (writing yours instead). a) This problem could be caused by using an incorrect domain in the ECAS service when trying to obtain a new password. With any Participant Portal organisation, proposal or project role, including LEAR/ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATOR, your domain should be "External". b) Contact your IT department to check if the email from the Authentication Service subject: ECAS Password Initialisation is not "queuing" in the mail server. c) The problem could occur if the email is treated as a spam. Ask your IT administrator to remove firstname.lastname@example.org or the domain ec.europa.eu from the spam filter. d) If it does not solve the problem, then please follow the instructions as indicated here in order to have the ECAS account verified by the responsible support team.
If you are logged-in, simply go to your user detail page then select Modify my personal data and enter a new valid email address in the e-mail field. Note that certain ECAS accounts that were created with a heightened security procedure (e.g. LEAR accounts) cannot change their email address directly from within ECAS afterwards. LEAR's can change it in the Beneficiary Register on the Participant Portal, choosing the page My Organisations after ECAS login. There you will inform the Validation Services via the messaging option. The e-mail address will subsequently be updated. Please note that a new e-mail address triggers for a LEAR a new ECAS account meaning you will receive a new PIN code.
Automatic sign-on (also called "single sign-on") allows you to log in to multiple websites with a single username and password, reducing the number of times you have to enter them.
When you specify a username when registering in ECAS, please be sure it does not exceed 32 characters and is composed exclusively of letters and numbers.
If the person that previously was in charge of the project didn't transfer the credentials (username/password) of the ECAS account allowing the access to the platform as a beneficiary then you will have to take contact with our support team. When contacting our supporting team, please request them to guide you with the procedure of changing the beneficiary of the project which involves the modification of project's contractualised information. Once the procedure will be launched and the change approved, the dissemination platform will inform you by email when the project will be available by you with your own ECAS account.
No. The former dissemination platform (known as EVE) was not using ECAS for the authentication of beneficiaries. If you were the beneficiary of a project previously disseminated in EVE and are expected to still valorise such a project, the new dissemination platform will inform you that you will be able to further access that project once you have a valid ECAS account where the specified email address corresponds to the one specified in the project.
