The postgraduate programme '' Master in Mathematics'' belongs to the School of Science & Technology of the Hellenic Open University. It was founded in 2005-2006. Every academic year it admits approximately 60 postgraduate students. It offers an additional number of places in the Postgraduate Programme of Studies to members of the educational personnel of Technological Educational Institutions (TEI) (article. 3 L. 3027/2002) and laboratory instructors (article. 19 L. 1404/1983, art. 11 par. 8 L. 3404/2005) that do not hold any postgraduate degree and do not have any postgraduate title of specialisation. The number of these places cannot be more than 10% of the annual number of the given postgraduate student places.

In order to be awarded a Masters Degree, students must complete 4 course modules and a dissertation that equals 1 course module. Students can select up to two course modules a year.
This course is offered to specialize Mathematics graduates, those teaching in Secondary Schools or intending to teach in secondary schools.
It aims at:
•Enhancing basic mathematical meanings
•Introducing applied mathematical methods
•(introducing) mathematical analysis for medicine, technology, sociology, economy
•offering an introduction to the history, epistemology and educational methods of mathematics less

The postgraduate programme '' Master in Teaching Natural Sciences '' belongs to the School of Sciences and Technology of the Hellenic Open University. It was founded in 2005-2006. Every academic year it admits approximately 120 postgraduate students.
It offers an additional number of places in the Postgraduate Programme of Studies to members of the educational personnel of Technological Educational Institutions (TEI) (article. 3 L. 3027/2002) and laboratory instructors (article. 19 L. 1404/1983, art. 11 par. 8 L. 3404/2005) that do not hold any postgraduate degree and do not have any postgraduate title of specialisation. The number of these places cannot be more than 10% of the annual number of the given postgraduate student places.

In order to be awarded a Masters Degree, students must complete 4 course modules and a dissertation that equals 1 course module. Students can select up to two course modules a year.

It offers an additional number of places in the Postgraduate Programme of Studies to members of the educational personnel of Technological Educational Institutions (TEI) (article. 3 L. 3027/2002) and laboratory instructors (article. 19 L. 1404/1983, art. 11 par. 8 L. 3404/2005) that do not hold any postgraduate degree and do not have any postgraduate title of specialisation. The postgraduate programme " Postgraduate Specialisation in Information Systems" is part of the Faculty of Practical Studies and Technology of the Greek Open University. It started working in the academic year 2004-2005. Each academic year it admits roughly 150 postgraduate students. It exclusively offers an additional number of provided places for the Postgraduate Programmes of Studies to members of the educational personnel of Technological Education Institutes (TEI) with personal place (article. 3 N. 3027/2002) and laboratorial collaborators (article. 19 N. 1404/1983, article. 11 paragraphs of 8 N. 3404/2005) that do not hold a postgraduate title of studies or do not hold a postgraduate title of specialisation. The number of these places cannot exceed the 10% of the annual number of provided places for the postgraduate students. For the acquisition of a Postgraduate Diploma of Scpecialisation is obligatory the completion of 4 Thematic Units (T.U.) as well as the completion of the Postgraduate Diploma Thesis which, according to its grade, equals to 1 Thematic Unit. A student can attend up to two Thematic Units per year.
