The first Europe-wide online survey aims to help improve health care services for men who have sex with men (MSM). The ECHOES survey targets community health workers who provide sexual health support for MSM and runs through 31 December 2017, in 16 languages.

Case study inventory - "Vulnerable" explores effective strategies to improve the health of vulnerable and isolated groups
|
The inventory produced as part of this pilot project contains 31 quality scored and highest ranked case studies of existing initiatives from across the EU, in 19 EU Member States. All the case studies aim to improve access to health care and / or to address health inequalities.

Breast Cancer data from 35 countries published through the European Commission Initiative on Breast Cancer
|
In the context of the European Commission Initiative on Breast Cancer (ECIBC), the Joint Research Centre has published the ECIBC Country profiles online, showing breast cancer data from the 35 participating countries. Data will be regularly updated and translated.

EU-funded study focuses on health inequalities faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex (LGBTI) people
|
As part of the Health4LGBTI.pilot project, (funded by the European Parliament and carried out by the Commission), the study looks at specific health inequalities experienced by LGBTI people and barriers faced by health professionals who care for them.

Sales of antibiotics for animal use decrease by 13% in Europe between 2011 and 2015

The European Medicines Agency has published a report on the sales of veterinary antibiotics in 2015 in Europe that shows that EU guidance and national campaigns promoting prudent use of antibiotics in animals to fight antimicrobial resistance are starting to have an effect.
