Mission Soil call for proposals: deadline closes soon
€95 million in funding is available for innovative solutions to improve soil health with food processing residues, decontamination methods, bio waste and reuse of land in urban and rural areas. REA is also looking for projects on soil education. Check the 10 topics open for funding, and submit your proposals by 27 September.
The European Biodiversity Partnership launches a new research call for proposals
The European Biodiversity Partnership Biodiversa+, co-funded by the European Union, has just launched a call for research proposals on “Improved transnational monitoring of biodiversity and ecosystem change for science and society”. The projects funded by this call should help to better characterize, understand and report on the state and trends of biodiversity. A two-step process will apply to this call, with a mandatory submission of pre-proposals at the first step; Deadline 9 November.
The members of the EU Missions Boards are appointed
15 members compose the EU Mission Soil Board: seven women and eight men. Their main goal will be to advise the European Commission on how to promote the Mission, raise awareness across the EU on its importance, and inspire citizens and professionals to get involved in the restoration and protection of soil and land.
