Contracts for services and goods – Calls for tenders

The European Commission buys in goods and services from contractors, selected by competitive tendering. Following a call for tenders, the Commission will sign a supply contract with the business that submits the best tender.

What contracts are available?

For maritime affairs and fisheries, the Commission is most often looking for contractors to carry out studies or information and communication activities.

Grants for projects – Calls for proposals

The European Commission provides funding grants to support specific projects (e.g. scientific research) relating to maritime affairs and fisheries. Following a call for proposals, the Commission will grant funding to projects that best meet its selection criteria.

What is this?

The EFF provides funding to the fishing industry and coastal communities to help them adapt to changing conditions and become economically resilient and ecologically sustainable.
