European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Management board renewal - call for applications

The Commission seeks to establish a short-list ensuring the highest standards of competence and a broad range of expertise, together with ‘the broadest possible geographical distribution’ to be facilitated by ‘a rotation of the different countries of origin of the Members’.

Please note that outgoing MB members (who may reapply unless they have completed the maximum two terms of office*) are nationals of Austria, Czech Republic, Germany*, Finland, Italy, Slovenia* and the United Kingdom. To date, the Board has had no members coming from Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, and Romania.   The call is open to nationals from all EU Member States.
