Europe Academy
’Single market, common money’ is the title of this year’s term of Europe Academy, co-organised by Budapest Business School.
In the semester of 2012-2013, ’Single market, single currency’ will be the title of the Academy of Europe series, co-organised with the Budapest Business School.
In this semester, four events will be held, dedicated to the twenty-year-old single market and possible solutions tackling the economic crisis in Europe. On 9 October, Dr. Tamás SZŰCS , Head of the European Commission Representation in Hungary, Dr. Balázs FERKELT , Vice Rector of the Budapest Business School, Gergely FORIÁN SZABÓ, Director of the Investment Department of Pioneer Investment Hungary and Dr. László JANKOVICS , Economic Attaché of the European Commission Representation in Hungary are going to discuss how they perceive the recent developments of the economic crisis, what measures the EU have taken to tackle the crisis and what are the potential outcomes of these measures.
On 15 October, Margit RÁCZ, research director at the Institute of World Economics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, lecturer of the Szolnok College and Éva TÖRZSÖK, lecturer of the Budapest Business School are going to give an overview on the different stages of how the single market has evolved throughout the past twenty years.
