Monday - Thursday from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and Friday from 10.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

Who can use the library?
All Commission staff, temporary officials and trainees (stagiaires)
Staff from the EU's other institutions and bodies
External visitors.
External visitors
The Central Library is also open to specialists and researchers (professionals, diplomats, civil servants from EU member countries, teachers, university students, etc.) who wish to consult its works on European integration.
Before visiting the library, these external visitors must first contact the Visitors Office, tel (+32.2) 299-90-64, fax (+32.2) 296-11-49.
They can also ask for a long-term visitor's card (maximum 1 year ).
Note that visitors are not entitled to borrow publications and may only consult works on the spot. No works may be ordered after 4.30 p.m. (1.00 p.m. on Fridays).
How to apply for a visitor's card

You must apply in writing, by filling in the
application form and providing the required supporting documents (business card, student card, diplomatic ID or statement from your employer, etc.).
