On 15 November 2012 the CELAN project will present its results and discuss language strategies for competitiveness and employability.
The Final Workshop of CELAN - Strategies for competitiveness and employability - will take place on 15 November 2012 in Brussels. The workshop will present the project results and will look into language needs of European SMEs, suggest tools to analyze needs and provide solutions. Practitioners from companies that successfully implemented a language strategy will present their experience and discuss their "best practice" with the audience.
The CELAN project, a network supported under Key Activity 2 - "Languages" - of the Lifelong Learning Programme, started on 1 January 2011, with a duration of 24 months. The project’s main objective is to facilitate a dialogue in the language field between the business community and language practitioners. It has its origin in the Business Platform for Multilingualism, a platform initiated in September 2009 to discuss the need for an enhanced awareness of the importance of languages in business.
