The biggest language-related event in France, Expolangues is a yearly gathering of businesses and professionals to promote language learning and linguistic diversity. OnFriday, 5 February there will be an award ceremony for the French winners of the
European Language Label. On the same day, Expolangues will host two conferences organised by the European Commission – one on Catalan and Welsh and one on early language learning . 14:00-15:30

Conference on Early Language Learning - moderated by Professor Piet Van de Craen (Brussels) and by Tony Stockwell (Liechtenstein). Research by Piet Van de Craen focus on multilingualism and multilingual education. He will present the benefits of early learning for the evolution of the brain of the child. Tony Stockwell has developed over 30 years of new methods of language teaching which will show the effects. We look forward to seeing you in Paris!
