Juvenes Translatores 2009: New Translation Contest
After two successful rounds in 2007 and 2008, the European Commission will run the JUVENES TRANSLATORES translation contest for the third time in 2009.
The contest is being organised for 17 year-olds in secondary schools throughout the European Union. They will be required to translate a text in any language pair of their choice among the 23 official languages of the EU. Translators from the European Commission will mark and select the best translation for each Member State. The winners will be invited to a two-day visit to Brussels!
