Robert Schuman - European Commission
Robert Schuman - Designed to remedy the widespread lack of information and training in Community law of judges, prosecutors and lawyers.
The Robert Schuman Project, which covered the years 1999-2001, provided organisations responsible for the training of judges and lawyers with targeted financial support for training initiatives and the development of information sources with a marked practical dimension.
The programme is no longer in force
It was designed to remedy the lack of information and training in Community law of judges, prosecutors and lawyers. By means of this financial support instrument, the Community encouraged and supported initiatives designed to raise awareness of Community law among members of the legal professions involved in the administration of justice, namely judges, prosecutors and lawyers within the Member States.
