Note for organisations applying both for an Operating Grant under the 116000 Daphne Operating Grant Call and for an Action Grand under the JPEN, JCIV, FRC, DAP, DPIP calls for proposals of DG Justice.

The Commission acknowledges the particularity of the 116000 OG call for proposals (which covers the operating costs only for specific activities of an organisation) and the practical situation presented by organisations for which the hotline represents only a small part of their overall activities. In view of these facts potential beneficiaries of the 116000 Daphne Operating Grant Call should note that if they are also awarded an action grant under the JPEN, JCIV, FRC, DAP, DPIP calls for proposals of DG Justice, this Action Grant can include as eligible costs overheads up to 7% only if the action grant and the operating grant are managed by a different department of the same organisation and if this organisation keeps an accounting system that allows costs (including overheads) of each department to be registered and presented separately.

Please note that this possibility applies only for Action Grants that are or will be awarded under the JPEN, JCIV, FRC, DAP, DPIP calls for proposals of DG Justice and  run in parallel (fully or partly) with the 116000 Daphne Operating Grant Call. It does not apply to action grants awarded by other Commission programmes.
