In October 2014, Finland hosted a seminar to discuss the role of men in gender equality. Austria and Iceland joined the seminar as associated countries and presented their policies on supporting paternity and parental leave. A total of 15 countries participated in the seminar and produced discussion and comments papers, which are now available online.
The Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) has published summary results of its EU-wide survey on women's experiences of violence in 22 EU languages.
On 6-7 November 2014, the Beijing+20 Regional Review Meeting was held in Geneva. The meeting, which was organised by the UN Economic Commission for Europe, addressed the 'unfinished business of gender equality'.
