Launch of the Hague programme 2005-2010
This was a five-year programme for closer cooperation in justice and home affairs (JHA) in the EU from 2005 to 2010. The programme's main focus was on setting up a common immigration and asylum policy for the 27 EU countries.
This is a five-year programme, proposed under the Swedish EU Presidency, with guidelines for justice and home affairs (JHA) in the EU from 2010 to 2015. It replaces the former Hague programme, and adds an external relations dimension.
