Prevention of and Fight Against Crime Programme (ISEC)

This programme (for the period 2007-13) provides financial support for cross-border actions to prevent and combat all types of crime and to strengthen law enforcement and judicial cooperation. The programme targets terrorism, trafficking in persons, offences against children, illicit arms trafficking, corruption and fraud. It also combats the production and trafficking of illicit drugs.
This programme deals partly with Home affairs policies but also with Justice policies. Calls for proposals under justice-related themes of this programme are managed by DG Justice.
