Projects and Funding

Many EU policies help to promote Roma inclusion and integration in the European society, through measures in various fields. The EU structural funds (European Social Fund, European Regional Development Fund) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development are the main EU funding mechanisms supporting the socio-economic integration of Roma. But other EU funding are also available.
EU policies and funding for Roma inclusion
Following a constructive, pragmatic and non-discriminatory approach, many EU policies help to promote Roma inclusion, such as those aiming at improving the economic situation, health, living conditions, employment opportunities, cultural understanding and education of all in Europe.
Roma inclusion may be supported through activities financed by various EU funding mechanisms:
