Communication on national Roma integration strategies
The European Commission assessed National Roma integration strategies and published its conclusions in the communication "National Roma Integration Strategies: a first step in the implementation of the EU Framework".
Access City Award 2013
The Access City Award is given yearly to one EU city for its demonstrated commitment and the comprehensive achievements in improving accessibility in the urban environment for the benefit of persons with disabilities and the population at large. The City Award 2013 was launched in May 2012.

Sixth European Equality Summit – Nicosia, Cyprus
The Equality Summit is co-organised once a year by the Member State holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of the year and the European Commission since 2007. It aims to promote equal rights and equal opportunities for all in the EU, and to share knowledge and experiences in order to develop policies and more effective ways of counteracting all forms of discrimination, particularly on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion and belief, age, disability, sexual orientation and sex.
Conference on the European Day of People with Disabilities
This annual conference is a platform for mutual learning and networking among key players and stakeholders in the disability policy field. Organized in cooperation with the European Disability Forum.
