First Roma summit

Roma Summits bring together representatives of EU institutions, national governments and civil society organisation. The first Summit promoted a firm commitment to tackling problems and creating a better understanding of the Roma across Europe.

The Work Forum on the implementation of the UNCRPD

Access City Award 2013

The Access City Award is given yearly to one EU city for its demonstrated commitment and the comprehensive achievements in improving accessibility in the urban environment for the benefit of persons with disabilities and the population at large. Sixth European Equality Summit – Nicosia, Cyprus

The Equality Summit Choose translations of the previous link  is co-organised once a year by the Member State holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of the year and the European Commission since 2007. It aims to promote equal rights and equal opportunities for all in the EU, and to share knowledge and experiences in order to develop policies and more effective ways of counteracting all forms of discrimination, particularly on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion and belief, age, disability, sexual orientation and sex.

Conference on the European Day of People with Disabilities

This annual conference is a platform for mutual learning and networking among key players and stakeholders in the disability policy field. Organized in cooperation with the European Disability Forum.
