High level event: Shaping the future of equality policies in the EU - Rome, Italy
The High level event is co-organised once a year by the EU-country which holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of the year and the European Commission since 2007. It aims to promote equal rights and equal opportunities for all in the EU, and to share knowledge and experiences in order to develop policies and more effective ways of counteracting all forms of discrimination, particularly on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion and belief, age, disability, sexual orientation and sex.
