- In the framework of the project “Improving the knowledge on new EU Regulations of the members of the National Judicial Networks in civil and commercial matters in the MS of EU”, funded by the “Civil Justice” Programme and implemented by the Romanian Ministry of Justice in partnership with the German Foundation on International Judicial Cooperation (IRZ), during May 2011 – June 2012, the attached Practical Handbook on the European Private International Law was elaborated. The practical handbook contains useful and relevant information on most recent EU instruments in civil and commercial matters in the field of recovery of claims, the law applicable to contractual and non-contractual obligations, jurisdiction, recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters and cross border disputes. It also includes practical cases on the above mentioned topics.
