Big success in Italy for the European Action on Drugs
“The European Action on Drugs had a lot of success in Italy. We put lots of effort into disseminating information on EAD”, said Filippo Lange, EAD national coordinator for Italy. He also works for EAD signatory Affabulazione, an association working with disadvantaged young people. “In addition, a campaign run by the European Commission increased chances for visibility and networking”, said Lange. More than 170 EAD signatories from Italy engaged in the European Action on Drugs campaign, representing the highest number of participants for one country.
“EAD was a flexible, open campaign, people could easily identify with the aims of the campaign, raising awareness on drugs. Thanks to EAD, they could add a European dimension to enhance their own activities”, Filippo Lange said.
