eChallenges e-2013 Conference

The eChallenges e-2013 Conference is the twenty-third in a series of annual technology research conferences supported by the European Commission and hosted by national governments. The 2013 edition takes place in Dublin, Ireland, in early October.
This year's goals include the promotion of the Information Society, Applied ICT and related knowledge sharing and innovation between government, industry and academics. A second topic will be the take-up by industry (including SMEs) of the results of research and technological developments. The third aim of eChallenges is to identify opportunities for future international research collaboration under Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
Speakers include Minister Sean Sherlock, Ireland's Minister of State for Research and Innovation, Imelda Lambkin, Director of the country's National Contact Point for the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), and Stephen O'Reilly, the country's National Delegate & Contact Point for FP7-ICT.
Registration fees for the conference range from EUR 590 for those who register before 31 August, to EUR 695 for those who register later. For more details, please consult the conference website.
