Pre-Conference: Innovation for eParticipation
Organised by VINNOVA (Sweden), Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (Poland)
In the area of eGovernment, the Polish Government together with the European Commission are hosting the 6th European Ministerial eGovernment Conference and Exhibition "Borderless eGovernment Services for Europeans" in Poznan, 17th -18th November, 2011.
This Pre-Conference is intended to show the results of important European eGovernment research in generating and implementing e-visions and e-solutions, as well as the possibilities to build new strategies upon current results. The following themes are focused on:
- Innovations for Government e-participation
- Innovations for Business e-participation
- Innovative e-services
This Pre-Conference aims to demonstrate many signs and activities showing that Europe is rapidly becoming mature as an e-society.
Prof. Wojciech CellaryPoznań University of Economics, Poland
Prof. Wojciech Cellary is a computer scientist, head of the Department of Information Technology at the Poznan University of Economics. In his professional career he worked at nine universities in Poland, France, and Italy. His research interests are currently focused on internet technologies, multimedia, electronic business and economy, electronic government and information society He was a leader of many national and international scientific and industrial projects. He served as a consultant to several Polish ministries, Polish Parliament and Senate, as well as European Commission. He was scientific editor of the report "Poland and the Global Information Society: Logging on" developed under auspices of United Nations Development Programme.
Mrs Lublińska-Kasprzak was an expert in the Parliamentary Group for the EU Funds Absorption and the international consulting projects. She is the author of various publications in the scope of application of the EU funds. She received the title of the Administration Manager of the Year 2011. Since 2001 she worked in the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture. Her last position in that organisation was the Deputy President. In April 2008 Mrs. Bożena Lublińska-Kasprzak has been nominated the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the PARP.
Charlotte BrogrenVINNOVA, Sweden
Director General of the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems, VINNOVA. Charlotte Brogren joined VINNOVA as Director General on September 1st 2009. Before joining VINNOVA she worked for 15 years for the global electrical company ABB in various management positions within research & development, most recently, as Technology Manager for ABB's Robotics Division. She has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lund and is a member of the board of IVA as well as several Swedish research foundations.
