The European Commission Representation in Ireland, in association with the Italian Embassy in Ireland, is hosting an exhibition of photographs on "Ever Closer Union – The Legacy of the Treaties of Rome for Today's Europe".
Tuesday 9 May: Europe Day event to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, Europe House, Dublin 2
In cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Ireland, the Embassy of Hungary in Dublin is hosting a photography exhibition on ’’Hungarian Freedom Fighters”. The photos of the 1848 Hungarian freedom fighters were taken by photographer József Plohn in 1902 and the photos of the 1956 Hungarian revolutionaries were taken by photographer Mihály Dömötör in 2006 respectively.
The European Commission Representation in Ireland will celebrate Europe Day 2017 with an event to mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome in Europe House, 12-14 Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2.

- EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan
- Minister of State for European Affairs, Dara Murphy
