On Thursday, 1 June, Phil Hogan, the EU Commissioner for Agriculture & Rural Affairs will host a Citizens’ Dialogue in Kilkenny where members of the public will have an opportunity to interact with him in a discussion on where the EU is headed and Ireland’s position in that forward path.
Among the topics for discussion will be Brexit, the future of the Common Agricultural Policy and the options for the future of the EU as outlined in the White Paper.
In cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Ireland, the Embassy of Hungary in Dublin is hosting a photography exhibition on ’’Hungarian Freedom Fighters”. The photos of the 1848 Hungarian freedom fighters were taken by photographer József Plohn in 1902 and the photos of the 1956 Hungarian revolutionaries were taken by photographer Mihály Dömötör in 2006 respectively.
The European Commission Representation in Ireland will celebrate Europe Day 2017 with an event to mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome in Europe House, 12-14 Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2.
