Competition to recruit Secretarial, Administrative and Financial Assistants

The EU institutions are looking for both newly trained and experienced, resilient and highly motivated staff who can play a key role in supporting teams, managers, or other services with the following profiles:

  • administrative support
  • financial support
  • secretarial support

To work for the EU Institutions you need to hold EU citizenship and have a thorough knowledge of an official EU language (includes Irish) plus a satisfactory knowledge of English, French or German.

The deadline for receipt of applications is: 10 February 2015 at 11 a.m. (Irish time).

Applications now open for October traineeships at the European Commission

The European Commission organises paid traineeship of 5 months duration starting each year on either 1 March or 1 October.

Applications are now open for the 5 month period starting 1 October 2015.

Applicants must have a university diploma of at least 3 years and must not have worked for the EU institutions for more than six weeks previously.

The closing date for applications is 30 January 2015 (11 a.m. Irish time). It is advisable to complete your entry well before this deadline.
