Batches : Using User Actions and Phases and associated consequences
The concept of batches: document groups are processed as a whole instead of individual documents.
"Batches" in this context is a generic term that includes two distinct concepts:
- The User Actions: a User Action is a kind of container that includes several items (e.g. documents) and actions on these items.
- The phases: a User Action is made up of a sequence of phases.
The implementation of these concepts modifies the way the CWCM works.

Regeneration tonight, schedule a
It is highly recommended to schedule the regeneration of a big batch of documents outside standard working hours in order not to impact the other users of the CWCMS who might be working at the same time as you do.
In this purpose, there is a function in the CWCMS that allows you to delay the regeneration of your subsite (and child subsites) to "tonight".
