Single Market Forum
The Single Market Forum forms part of the
Single Market Act. It periodically gathers market participants, e.g. businesses, social partners, non-governmental organisations and those representing citizens, public authorities at various levels of government and parliaments. It examines the state of the Single Market, the transposition and application of directives, and exchanges best practice. The Forum contributes to policy evaluations and plays its part in monitoring the implementation of the Single Market Act and its impact at grassroots level.

Forum 2011 |

The first Single Market Forum was held in Krakow on 2-4 October 2011. It brought together more around 1,200 people, including citizens, representatives from the business community, social partners, non-governmental organisations, think tanks, journalists, public authorities and national parliaments.
