IMI user guide

The Internal Market Information System (IMI) is an electronic system established to support administrative co-operation among Member States. It allows each competent authorities to exchange information easily and rapidly in its own language with competent authorities from other Member States in order to supervise service providers and their activities. The IMI guide focuses on the day-to-day information exchange and tries to explain the different obligations, scenarios and functions of administrative cooperation.

Quality of services – European codes of conduct

 European codes of conduct

The Services Directive deals with quality of services. It encourages the drawing up of European codes of conduct by professional organisations. Following a consultation held in 2007, the European Commission has published this document which provides a technical overview of existing European codes and should help professional organisations wishing to draw up such codes.
