    Description of activities:
    O enfermeiro possui curso superior legalmente reconhecido e título profissional atribuído pela Ordem dos Enfermeiros que o habilita para: desenvolver prática profissional com responsabilidade; exercer segundo os quadros ético, deontológico e jurídico e com os fundamentos da prestação e gestão de cuidados; contribuir para a promoção da saúde; utilizar o Processo de Enfermagem; estabelecer comunicação terapêutica e relações interpessoais; promover ambiente seguro; delegar e supervisionar tarefas; contribuir para valorização profissional e melhoria contínua da qualidade dos cuidados; desenvolver processos de formação contínua. Os enfermeiros regem-se por um código deontológico inserido no Estatuto da OE (Anexo da Lei n. 111/2009 de 16 de Setembro de 2009).
