The modernisation of the Professional Qualifications Directive is one of the priorities for the EU under the Single Market Act. An extensive evaluation of the Directive over the last year and a half culminated in a Commission’s proposal adopted in December 2011.

The meeting has been an opportunity for interested parties to discuss the new elements contained in the legislative proposal.
