issued in accordance with Article 52(4) of the Directive 2009/65/EC

Article52(4) of the Directive 2009/65/EC of 13 July 2009 on the coordination of laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) allows Member States to raise investment limits for harmonised investment funds (UCITS) regarding their investment in certain bonds which meet the requirements set out in this provision. According to Article 52(4) third sub-paragraph, it is the aim of this web-site to make information received from Member States public.

This shall improve transparency and provide easy access to information on the legal basis allowing for the issue of instruments meeting the requirements of Article 52(4) and – as far as possible – information on the eligible individual instruments and their issuers. However, due to the ongoing expiration and new issues of these bonds, information on this site cannot be exhaustive or updated daily. Therefore it is advisable to get in touch with the contact point if up-to-date and precise information on the eligibility of a certain bond is needed.
