Overview

The majority of the ongoing infringement proceedings in the insurance sector concern faulty implementation of the established directives into the national legislation of the Member States. This is the case in particular for the third generation of life and non-life insurance directives and the motor insurance directives. Only one infringement proceeding is linked to the transposition of the insurance groups' directive.
