| Objective of the consultation |
| The Expert Group on Credit Histories was announced in the
Commission Communication on A single market for 21st century
Europe and the White Paper on the Integration of EU Mortgage
Credit Markets. The Group was mandated to indentify solutions
which maximise credit data circulation whilst ensuring a high level
of consumer protection (Commission Decision 2008/543/EC of
13.6.2008). The Group presented its conclusions and
recommendations in the form of a report published on 15.6.2009. The
objective of this consultation was to collect stakeholders’
reactions
to this report. |
