Consultation and public hearing on future priorities for the Action Plan

The Directorate General for Internal Market and Services has published a summary report on the consultation on future priorities for the Action Plan on Company Law and Corporate Governance. The results of the consultation show clear support for the application of Better Regulation principles to the field of company law and corporate governance.

Public hearing

The Directorate General for Internal Market and Services organised a public hearing on future priorities for the Action Plan on the Modernisation of Company Law and Corporate Governance on 3 May in Brussels. More than 300 stakeholders participated to the hearing. A report on the outcome of the consultation and hearing will be published shortly.

Consultation

The Directorate General for Internal Market and Services launched on 20 December 2005 a public consultation on future priorities for the Action Plan on the Modernisation of Company Law and Corporate Governance. The consultation closed on 31 March 2006.
