Market monitoring: Commission staff working documents on free movement of capital in the EU

The 2^nd edition (2013) of the staff working document on free movements of capital(304 KB) covers developments concerning the free movement of capital mainly in 2011, although where possible the period up to mid-2012 is also covered. It focuses on different categories of capital movements and reviews the performance of intra-EU flows, inflows into the EU and outflows from the EU. In addition, it examines the functioning of the Single Market for capital and its current legal framework, and explains the actions taken to address the problems.
