A public consultation has been launched on a draft Recommendation on relevant product and service markets within the electronic communications sector susceptible to ex-ante regulation in accordance with Article 15 of the Directive 2002/21/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 March 2002 on a common regulatory framework for electronic communications networks and services.

Public consultation on the study on Digital Switchover in Broadcasting.

Comments were invited until 1st July 2002 on the independent study on Digital Switchover in Broadcasting to serve as an input to the Commissions' future work in this area.

Draft SMP Guidelines

The Commission has conducted a public consultation on the draft Guidelines on Market Analysis and the calculation on significant market power under Article 14 of the proposed Directive on a common regulatory framework for electronic communication networks and services (COM(2001)175/final) from 1 May until 30 June 2001. In this context, the Commission held a public workshop in Brussels, on 18 June 2001, to present and discuss these draft SMP Guidelines.
