PILOTING IPv6 UPGRADE FOR EUROPE : workshop 26 April 2010-Brussels

The IPv6 Workshop has taken place on Monday April 26, in Brussels.
Venue : 25 Avenue de Beaulieu, 1160 BRUSSELS (metro Beaulieu)
meeting room: 0/S1
From 10H00 to 16H00.

Following the IPv6 action define in the Communication which was launched in May 2008, this workshop was a great opportunity to get an overview of the deployment progress of the IPv6 in Europe and plans for future actions, specially for public authorities.

Rapporteur : Martin Potts

The objective of the workshop was to create a fruitful dialogue between stakeholders (which could be involved in pilots tackling public authorities organisations) on the status of the IPv6 migration in their countries, and to prepare a position paper designed for the member states to speed up the process of upgrading the infrastructure to IPv6.
