- National voluntary accreditation scheme
The detailed national voluntary accreditation scheme is laid down in §§ 15 and 16 of the “Law Governing Framework Conditions for Electronic Signatures and Amending Other Regulations” of 16 May 2001 (Signatures Act; SigG) and in § 11 of the “Ordinance on Electronic Signatures” of 16 November 2001 (SigV). All additional requirements pursuant to Article 3(7) are laid down in SigG and SigV as well. Please mind that the official version of both SigG and SigV and all official information provided are only available in German.
