19 April 2011 - The Commission adopted a Communication on the open internet and net neutrality in Europe - COM(2011) 222.
 

17 February 2009 - The Commission adopted a Communication to the European Parliament concerning the common positions of the Council on the adoption of the reform of the telecoms regulatory framework - COM(2009) 78.
 

10 December 2008 - The Commission adopted a Communication on the Legal Framework for Mobile TV Networks and Services: Best Practice for Authorisation – The EU Model - COM(2008) 845.
 

25 September 2008 - The Commission adopted a Communication on the second periodic review of the scope of universal service in electronic communications networks and services in accordance with Article 15 of Directive 2002/22/EC - COM(2008) 572.  It provides some broad reflections on the role of universal service in meeting wider challenges at European level - in particular ensuring access to broadband - in order to open a debate about possible future policy.
 

13 November 2007 - Communication - Report on the outcome of the Review of the EU regulatory framework for electronic communications networks and services in accordance with Directive 2002/21/EC and summary of the 2007 reform proposals - COM(2007) 696.

2 February 2006 - The Commission has adopted a Communication on reviewing the interoperability of digital interactive television services pursuant to Communication COM(2004) 541 of 30 July 2004 - COM(2006) 37.
 

24 May 2005 - The Commission has adopted a Communication on the Review of the Scope of Universal Service in accordance with Article 15 of Directive 2002/22/EC - COM(2005) 203.
 

24 May 2005 - The Commission has adopted a Communication on Accelerating the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting - COM(2005) 204. The Commission expects most broadcasting in the EU to be digital by 2010 and proposes a deadline of early 2012 for phasing out traditional analogue terrestrial broadcasting.

30 July 2004 - The Commission has adopted a Communication on Interoperability of interactive digital TV services - COM(2004) 541. The Communication  sets out the Commission's position on the issue as required under Art. 18 of Directive 2002/21/EC

30 June 2004 - The Commission has adopted a Communication on Mobile broadband services - COM(2004) 447. The commission tables a blueprint for anytime, anywhere access, to boost growth in business and public services.
 

22 January 2004 - Communication on unsolicited commercial communications or 'spam' - COM(2004) 28. This Communication identifies a series of actions that are needed to complement the EU rules and make them as effective as possible.
 

17 September 2003 - Switchover Communication on the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting (from digital 'switchover' to analogue 'switch-off') - COM(2003) 541.
 

12 September 2003 - THE INTERNET ACTION PLAN aims at identifying and acting against harmful and illegal content.

9 July 2003 - Open Platforms Communication - COM(2003) 410.  This Communication responds to the requests from the Barcelona and Seville European Councils for the Commission to produce a report on "the remaining barriers to the achievement of widespread access to new services and applications of the information society through open platforms in digital television and 3G mobile communications".  
 

27 June 2001 - The use of satellite dish antennas - COM(2001) 351.  Communication stating that private individuals should be free to install and use satellite dish antennas without undue technical, administrative, urban planning or tax obstacles. This is required for the free movement of goods and services, which are both fundamental Internal Market freedoms under Art. 28 and 49 of the EC Treaty.
 

20 March 2001 - Third Generation Mobile Communication. Communication from the Commission to the Council, the European Parliament, the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of Regions: The Introduction of Third Generation Mobile Communications in the European Union: State of Play and the Way Forward - COM(2001) 141.
