National Switchover Plans

DG Information Society has requested Member States to forward copies of their switchover plans. The information received from Member States is summarised in the document COCOM09-01 Switchover update.

Detailed information per Member State is published below.

The eEurope 2005 Action Plan called upon Member States to publish by end 2003 their intentions regarding a possible switchover. The Telecommunications Council of 20 November 2003 endorsed this deadline. The links to such publication at Member States level are displayed below.
