Commercial exploitation of results by EU-funded projects
Our [link] http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/ict/components/ (Components unit) [/link] has looked into the finished [link] http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/home_en.html (FP7) [/link] projects in order to find out what has happened with the results of the projects funded in the micro-nanosystems and nanoelectronics areas. Looking at projects that had created most patents we were very happy to discover that many of the project partners reported on-going commercial exploitation and that these included small and medium-sized companies.
