Workshop 'Smart Specialisation and Key Enabling Technologies: How to make it work'

This workshop will precede the Annual High Level Innovation Conference in Villach.

The aim of this workshop is to present recommendations for upcoming Work Programmes under Horizon 2020 and Structural Funds implementation in coordination with Horizon 2020.

Between 50 and 100 selected representatives with responsibility for implementing Smart Specialization approaches in the regions, in particular in regions with relevance for KET activities, are expected. The participants will be policy representatives at regional level in charge of economics, innovation, research, national representatives from Federal Ministries, Agencies and regional RTD actors including research organizations, clusters, initiatives such as “Silicon Europe”, companies and universities.
