The European Commission has adopted a recommendation that aims at obtaining authorisation from the Council to open negotiations for the conclusion of a new fisheries protocol between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco. The current, 4-year protocol to the Fisheries Partnership Agreement with the Kingdom of Morocco will expire on 14 July 2018.

A new Protocol to the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Mauritius has been signed in Port-Louis on 26 April, It sets the conditions to allow EU tuna fishing vessels to fish in Mauritius waters for a period of 4 years, in a transparent and regulated environment.

The report of the Seventh Joint Scientific Committee (JSC) organized in the framework of the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement (SFPA) between the European Union (EU) and Guinea Bissau (GB) between 27 and 31 March 2017 is now available.
