Events :: Inspire 2013: the Green Renaissance, Florence, Italy
23 - 27 June 2013
The INSPIRE Directive aims to put more digital map data held by public authorities into the public domain through a process that involves common standards and requirements for public access. Maritime policy initiatives such as the European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet) and the Common Information Sharing Environment (CISE) reinforce and extend INSPIRE through targeted efforts to make marine environmental publicly data available and to promote sharing of more sensitive real-time data on maritime activity. Progress will be presented at the INSPIRE conference in Florence from 23 June to 27 June 2013.
