Audiovisual :: PatientVille was a joint exhibition at the 2012 eHealth Week/World of Health IT conference

Video presentation of the PatientVille at eHealth Week/WoHIT 2012

(17/09/2012) PatientVille takes its name from the movie DogVille, that uses an extremely minimal, stage-like set. Like DogVille, PatientVille used a minimal set-up with as few props as possible to tell its story. The PatientVille exhibition tells the story of a chronically ill patient that suffers from a heart disease, and demonstrates how eHealth supports coherence in the patient's course of treatment. The journey included a demonstration of care and how data is shared between the pre-hospital sector (ambulance), hospital, municipality, general practitioner, pharmacy, and the patient's own home. PatientVille also included a demonstration of cross-border e-prescription (epSOS) at a Danish pharmacy.
