Reports and studies :: Impact of Technology Trends on e-Inclusion Policy and Practice
26 February 2008
Several technology trends presented in this paper show opportunities for universally designed products, and for improved availability, usability, and affordability of assistive technology that can have significant impact on the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Many of the changes in technology are evolutionary, but some revolutionary changes are also ahead.
Gregg C Vanderheiden Ph.D. from Trace R&D Center/Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison prepared a paper that aims at reconsideration of e-Inclusion effort.
It is an adaptation of a report wrote for the US National Council on Disability.
The document presents emerging technology trends that affect those used by people with disabilities.
