The OISPG member Markku Markkula, Committee of the Regions, will present his point of view on the topic of Open Innovation 2.0 taking it from a Regional perspective.

PAST EVENTS REPORT: The 5th European Innovation Summit
The event, hosted by Knowledge4Innovation, a non-profit forum of the European Parliament, has called on Europe’s leaders to ‘wake up’ and take action to make Europe a leading innovation economy. On the final day of the summit, which was held in Brussels earlier this month, a declaration was issued to EU policy makers and Member State Governments listing a number of key actions they should take to overcome barriers to innovation, including the implementation of new policies and instruments from 2014-2020.
