Cornell University, INSEAD and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO, a specialized agency of the United Nations) co-publish The Global Innovation Index (GII), now in its sixth edition.

EU/Access to Finance: Green light from European Council for € 10.4 billion SME lending instrument.
On 27 and 28 June 2013, on the occasion of the gathering of the European Council, heads of state and government debated a joint proposal by the European Commission and the European Investment Bank to establish one single SME support instrument with a total worth of € 10.4 billion.
