ETSI, the not-for-profit European Telecommunications Standards Institute, is organising a free workshop on telemedicine. The program is available; among the speakers are the EU-funded Antilope project experts.
The successful deployment of telemedicine will depend on the environment in which regulations and standards for telemedicine are to be created.
Topics of the workshop
Roll-out of telemedicine services in Europe and across the world;
Development of standards and specifications for telemedicine needed for confidential and secure electronic transmission of medical data from individual measuring devices, medical data transmission quality, interoperability between medical devices;
Telemedicine use cases.
