The INFSO Networked Media Systems Unit is managing the Networked Media and Search Systems objective under ICT Theme of FP7. In this context, the Unit is organising the 8th FP7 Concertation Meeting in Brussels on 13 and 14 December 2011.
The 8th FP7 Concertation Meeting in Brussels, Belgium aims to bring together the ongoing FP7 projects to facilitate exchange of results and achievements. The projects are organised in four clusters: 3D Immersive Interactive Media (3DIIM), Future Media Networks (FMN), Media Search (MS) and User Centric Media (UCM).

Objectives

To set up a framework of cooperation among Networked Media Systems projects and to facilitate programme management by the Commission services.

To contribute to the successful completion and to enhance the dissemination efforts of the projects

To support the ongoing FP7 projects in sharing their latest research achievements

To enhance the project cooperation activities, share best practices and opportunities for standardisation

Identify future activities and topics of common interest for each cluster

Facilitate networking and discussion among the participants
